During the 7th Update of Measures Taken Against Coronavirus by the President of Ghana, Nana Akufo-Addo, he firmly stated the revoke of the current lockdown imposed on the Greater Accra, Greater Kumasi and Kasoa Municipality.
The lift the lockdown as stated by Nana Akufo-Addo, takes effect exactly 1:00am on 20th April, 2020, Monday.
He further urged the general public to continue adhering to the precautionary measures from the expertise (Scientist and Doctors) in order to stay uninfected.
This include continues social distancing, ban of general gathering (Churches, schools, Mosque, funeral and burial etc.), washing of hands and the use of prescribed ventilated nose masks.
Nana Akufo-Addo also noted his fellow Ghanaians of the milestone achieved by his abled scientist at Noguchie and Legon as they recently discovered the genome of the Coronavirus 2019 (The causative agent).
As such, they are working relentlessly to discover a local vaccine to finally curb this pandemic in our country.
