GAEC Hands MIC-PCRR Diagnostic Equipment And Kits To The Gov’t Of Ghana.

Ghana Atomic Energy Commission (GAEC) hands MIC-PCRR diagnostic equipment and kits to the Government of Ghana to fight against the Coronavirus 2019 (Covid-19) pandemic.

“The equipment has the capacity to test 2,300 samples within 24 hour period.”

“The equipment is to be given to the University of Health and Allied  Sciences in the Volta Region. This will help the country in dealing with the issue of backlog of samples taken from COVID19 suspected cases as the country embarks on more testing to contain the disease.” Quoted from the Ministry of Information twitter page.
