Why WHO Disapproves Madagascar’s Remedy for COVID-19?
Hours following Donald Trump’s Opinion on the use of disinfectant to treat COVID-19, Madagascar President, Andry Rajoelina, endorse an organic cure (COVID ORGANIC) to treat infected people in the country.
The President noted that CVO, which is manufactured in the form of tea is curing patients in the country. He said, “All trials and tests have been conducted and its effectiveness has been provided in reducing and elimination of symptoms from COVID-19 patients in Madagascar.”
However, the World Health Organization, WHO, in a statement warned countries against the use of self-medication and further claimed that no recommended cure has been endorsed by the world health body.
Furthermore, the WHO warning to Malagasy people did not stop multitudes from flocking the free distribution of the herbal tea. Although some are still nursing doubts on their crust. As a matter of fact, Soldiers in the country are distributing CVO to vulnerable citizens door-to-door.
